About the Event
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Links of Hope event, dedicated to supporting parents and caregivers of individuals with disabilities. This event will focus on crucial topics like School-Based Mental Health and Stress, The Silent Killer—a significant factor affecting both children and caregivers.
What to Expect:
- Behavioral Challenges and Mental Health (via ZOOM and On-Site) : Is your child having difficulty with behaviors at school or does your child need mental health services at school? Join us to learn about what the school district should be doing to ensure your child receives the appropriate services needed to access their education.
- A Path to Longevity (On-Site) : An interactive workshop, in which we will discuss how stress can negatively affect the caregiver’s physical, mental, and emotional health; You will learn more about strategies and activities that can help reduce caregiver stress levels and promote caregiver well-being.
We are honored to have Phadre Anderson of Magnolia Rose Ranch and Dr. Edna Willis as our special guests, alongside a representative from Disability Rights California.
